don't make the contents of that sardine can too public - the TSA will quickly ban each and every one of those items. If it's useful, it's dangerous.
I tend to be able to pack in five minutes because my travel bag is at least 95% packed at all times. Sometimes a few swaps are needed (no need to carry a California map if I'm in Norway, for example), but in general what I travel with is roughly constant, and - given that I have my "home" toiletries and my "road" toiletries, for example - I don't need to shuffle those around.
you never know when you might need a map of california while in norway. what if a hot norwegian chick wanted to know exactly where you live, so she come and visit?
Whenever I go on a road trip here, I pack about four times as much stuff as I will use, but I do it because I have the car.
When I go to Europe, I pack the bare minimum, then unpack, take out a number of things, and repack. And people say, "IS THAT ALL YOU'RE TAKING?" and it's STILL too much.
i have one where the buttons don't start til boob-height. it's AWESOME. is there nothing better than a crisp white shirt - and, for that matter, a crisp white wine?
I can't lighten my load any more than I already do. Any time I've tried to pack light, I arrive at my destination, open my bag and say "I brought that to wear? I hate that shirt."
I saw an interview with an actor and he said when he has to travel for work he doesn't take anything. He was on the Graham Norton show literally wearing the shirt he had on the airplane to London. And he looked it.
you know, if i am traveling to a place like on a fun vacation, i always try on outfits before packing - and walk around in them and everything. i've made that mistake too many times, of opening the suitcase and being like, wtf did i bring this shit for?
I never thought about taking things for a test drive first. As organized as I am, I always pack the night before I leave and so I end up with some strange choices.
Sometimes my choices are made for me when I get home and look through the pictures and think "I had no idea I looked so bad in that shirt. That color isn't me at all."
Why do you say phones? More than one phone? No comprendre why more than one.
Like your packing style. I always maintain that I (more or less) take the same amount if I'm going on a few day trip, week, or for months. There's just the certain base layer items needed which are the bulk.

i know what you're saying about the bulk. i hate it when i pack undies, tanks and pj's and it's like half my little suitcase.
